Khazineyi, Honouring the Legacy of Islamic Design

The Beginning of a Visual Journey
2022 marked Khazineyi’s debut at Daachi, where we introduced our vision rooted in Islamic art and heritage. Our stall featured a curated selection of handcrafted pieces and heritage-inspired prints, drawing inspiration from the frescoes, tiles, and architectural details of Lahore’s historic mosques. Visitors were intrigued by the concept, many engaging in conversations about the preservation of traditional art. It was the beginning of a beautiful connection between our artistic mission and a growing community of heritage lovers.
Celebrating Islamic Architecture Through Art
Our stall was dedicated to Islamic architectural paintings, and the response was nothing short of overwhelming. Featuring intricate visuals inspired by mosques like Masjid Wazir Khan, our collection resonated deeply with visitors. Many admired the precision, cultural relevance, and emotional nostalgia the artwork evoked. Guests shared personal stories, expressed curiosity, and found themselves drawn into the timeless beauty of Islamic design. The positive reception reinforced our mission: to preserve and reinterpret heritage through art.
In 2025, Khazineyi returned to Hope &Beyond seminar by Imempowered, with a broader range of handcrafted artworks, heritage-inspired journals, tote bags, and miniature paintings. Our stall invited visitors to not just view but interact with stories from Lahore’s past.
The layering of visual storytelling, tangible design, and cultural homage made this exhibition our most diverse yet. It was heartening to see returning supporters and new admirers engaging with our vision of tradition meeting contemporary craftsmanship.
